Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team and deliver top-tier service in maintaining and repairing HVAC systems across various properties. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical expertise, troubleshoot complex systems, and ensure optimal indoor climate conditions. As an HVAC Technician, you will be instrumental in diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and implementing system upgrades to enhance property comfort and efficiency. Responsibilities
Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems.
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, and HVAC design documents to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs.
Conduct routine inspections of mechanical equipment, plumbing fixtures, refrigeration units, and property infrastructure to identify potential problems before they escalate.
Perform field service tasks such as appliance repair, equipment maintenance, welding, and component replacement using appropriate tools including ohmmeters.
Diagnose electrical issues within HVAC/R systems using specialized testing devices; ensure all repairs meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
Assist with the installation of new HVAC equipment following proper procedures; coordinate with construction teams when necessary.
Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inspection reports to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
Operate a <PERSON> driver vehicle safely for on-site visits or transportation of equipment as required.
Support ammonia refrigeration systems management by performing routine checks and repairs while adhering to safety protocols specific to refrigerant handling.
Experience
Proven experience (2-5 years)as a service technician specializing in Commercial/Residential HVAC systems with a strong background in mechanical knowledge and property maintenance.
Hands-on experience working with schematics, blueprints, HVAC design plans, and electrical wiring diagrams.
Demonstrated ability to repair refrigeration units, boilers, appliances, and other mechanical equipment efficiently.
Familiarity with plumbing systems related to HVAC applications; experience with welding or fabrication is a plus.
Knowledge of field service operations including troubleshooting complex issues on-site under pressure.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating <PERSON> driver vehicles preferred. Pay Range: $25 – $40hr. Based on Experience
40 Hours per week
